Where Fabric Dreams Get Finished
Ready to make something beautiful, together?
Meet Sew Mary
Mary spent decades as a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Albany, New York — listening carefully, holding space, and helping people stitch their stories back together. (It turns out that's excellent training for working with fabric, too.)
When she and her handsome husband Michael packed up their life and moved to Providence, Rhode Island, Mary brought along three essentials: her sewing machine, her boundless creative energy, and Max — the very good labradoodle who supervises every project from his post near the studio window.
The daughter of an art teacher, Mary grew up believing that beauty is something you make with your hands, and that a well-finished seam is its own quiet kind of love. That belief has only deepened over the years. Her creativity is, by all reliable accounts, an unstoppable force of nature — generous, precise, and a little bit magical.
She'd love to bring that same care to your next project.
